We learned recently that, after several years as Chair of the charitable association that oversees the
Hogar Anita Goulden, Luciana Ceccovilli will be resigning, due to moving from Piura to Lima for
professional reasons. Luciana’s efforts have left the Home in a stronger position, better integrated
than ever in the local community and well placed for a sustainable future. Her leadership will be
much missed.
A general meeting of the Asociación Hogar Anita Goulden on 10th April appointed Carmen Olga
Palma as its new Chair, and reappointed Amabilia Arellano as Treasurer. Carmen Olga has been a
member of the local Committee for 5 years, so she and Amabilia represent much needed continuity
in the governance of the Home. The Committee will also still have the invaluable support of Anita
Mollet, friend and collaborator of the late Anita Goulden, as adviser.
As well as Luciana Ceccovilli, long time Committee member Dolores Feria has stepped down due to
ill health. Their places have been taken by Pilar Nuñez as Vice-President and Enrique Falcón,
Secretary. Both of them have extensive financial and business experience that they bring to the
management of the Home.
